REPAIR, RESCREEN OR RESTORE?
Every enclosure ages differently. We look at the screen, finish, fasteners, doors and overall condition before recommending the scope.
When damage is limited to one or several panels, we remove the failed mesh and install new screen and spline in those openings. This is a practical choice for tears, pet damage, storm damage or loose panels when the remaining screen is still tight and serviceable.
When screen throughout the enclosure is brittle, stained, loose or failing in several places, replacing it all provides a clean, consistent result. We remove the old mesh and spline and install new screen throughout pool enclosures, screen rooms, lanais and porches. Ask about 18/14, 20/20 no-see-um and pet-screen options.
For structurally sound aluminum with a faded, chalky or peeling finish, restoration can include screen removal, pressure washing, surface preparation, DTM painting, new screws and Tapcons, selected door hardware and a complete rescreen. The final scope is based on what the enclosure needs.

There is no single best screen for every enclosure. The right choice depends on the insects, pets, airflow and privacy needs around your home.
Everyday pool enclosures, lanais and screen rooms
The strongest balance of airflow, visibility and everyday insect protection.
Biting midges, no-see-ums and other very small insects
A tighter weave than standard screen for stronger small-insect protection, with somewhat less airflow and visibility.
Lower panels, doors and areas used by dogs or cats
Thicker and more resistant to claws and impact than standard fiberglass screen.
Lower walls, privacy areas and splash control
A laminated screen that blocks the view and airflow. Best used on selected wall panels—not enclosure roofs.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Every enclosure is different, but these answers cover the questions customers ask us most often.
A panel replacement usually makes sense when damage is isolated and the remaining screen is still tight. A full rescreen is often the better value when the mesh is brittle, loose, stained or failing throughout the enclosure.
18/14 works well for most enclosures. Denser 20/20 no-see-um screen adds protection from smaller insects, pet screen strengthens high-contact areas, and Florida Glass adds privacy on selected wall panels. We can compare the options onsite.
